Disappointed

We installed all new Bosch appliances in our newly purchased/built house in 2019. We were super excited to try out the new appliances due to the name brand and style. Unfortunately our microwave has descided to start tripping the breaker nonstop to the point that we have unplugged the microwave and are looking to replace it with a different brand. This is not the value we expected when spending all this money on Bosch appliances. I can see reading through other reviews this appears to be a significant issue that Bosch chooses to do nothing about. I guess Bosch appliances are good in name only.

When buying an appliance, it is like making an investment. I look for good design appearance, a sign of quality. I look for what performance it offers and reliability. I am very pleased with this microwave in every respect. Money will spent.

A Microwave That is All It Needs to Be

This is a straightforward microwave with all the features you need and none of the fussy features that are unneeded. The design is clean and looks great in the kitchen. Definitely a Bauhaus design philosophy.

Stopped working after 5 years of use.

My wife and I bought a condo in Hawaii that came with a BOSCH 300 HMV3052U microwave. It only lasted five years. It worked fine until now. The settings were simple, but that was good for us. I have another old much cheaper microwave that has lasted 25 years. It is cheaper to replace it than to fix it, I discovered. Not going to buy another Bosch.
