Nice product but we had no idea how hard the black glass is to keep clean. You can use any product on the market to remove the grease and cooked-on items but the cooktop always looks streaked and hazy.

Glass top cracked while using 3 of the 5 burners

I recently bought this electric stovetop and while using the 2 left burners as well as the center burner simultaneously, I heard a pop sound and turned everything off. After further inspection I realized that the glass top cracked between the 2 left burners all the way down to the middle burner control knob. At this point it is unsafe to use or to clean as there are very small glass shards everywhere and there is obviously a razor sharp edge where the glass cracked. I'm thinking it was a manufacturing defect and I am praying that Frigidaire will warranty this unit. Their phone line is always busy and I still have not received an email back from them after a few hours. Not too happy so far.
