This replaces a KitchenAid ice maker. We couldn’t get used to ice from our fridge, so had to get a new one.

I bought the Ice Make in Sep 2019. It works great when running. After it stopped workin We purchased the Ice Maker in Sep 2019. It works well when running. It stopped working @14 Oct , we had a KitchenAide repairman over and he fixed it (but said he thought it needed a new pump). It stopped working again @28 Oct. KitchenAide sent the repairman (8 Nov) who this time brought a new pump and installed it. As of 11 Nov 2019 the Ice Maker is working.

This is a great ice machine. Easy to install, drain pump works well, sleek commercial style, fairly quiet, and the ice output and quality is excellent. I wish they would include one water filter with the machine, but that would be my only complaint.

We bought this for our new home and we love it. The ice is the perfect size (about 1 inch square) for all kinds of drinks. When we use large amounts for parties, it is quickly replenished.

I bought this as a replacement for a 12 year old version of the same ice machine. The finish and etched handle look very nice and it works great. I would recommend this unit.
