After using generic filters for a while these were purchased after receiving a promotion from LG. Water flows through these much better and tastes great.

The filters are fine and the water tastes good. The problem we had though is with the refrigerator. New refrigerator not three years old and the compressor went. Lost almost $1000 worth of food and no compensation for the this loss.

I recently purchased LG replacement water filters for my LT700P3 refrigerator and I am extremely happy. I have tried aftermarket filters in the past and the performance has been subpar - last only six weeks I learned my lesson and only use genuine LG Filters for the best results.

I ordered three of these but had already replaced with a generic brand which does not work as well. The water tastes better and the ice does not pick up the refrigerator odors with the LG filter.
