Wish the fridge worked, really liked the Smart Hub

my fridge was delivered in sept 21 but it has never worked. it’s repaired twice and then samsung agreed to exchange it. months later, i still have a dud fridge taking up space in my kitchen. i really liked this model just wished that it would work. we have been trying to get a refund now but to no avail. i thought samsung was a good company that cared about their customers. i do not recommend this refrigerator.

Family Hub stopped working

i loved the fridge when we first got it, but all of the sudden the time is wrong, the date is wrong, the weather is wrong, it doesn't sync our family calendar anymore. i have tried going through all of the fixes but when i somehow found all of the complaints i realized i had been scammed! this is so sad. we bought this refrigerator because we were so impressed with the family hub. now it is just a fridge. boo.

For 3000.00 ice maker stinks

i would have never spent over 3000.00 on this if i knew how terrible this ice make was. what may seem unimportant to some is very important to me. we use a lot of ice in this house and this ice maker stinks. it runs out constantly and then takes forever to make new. my old lg made so much ice i would have to turn it off! with this i have to buys bags of ice to have on hand. rest of fridge is ok but to me this and the 45.00 water filter is the breaking point.. terribly disappointed.

Permanent Alexa Popups

the fridge has been fine overall, but alexa ads pop up every few days. since i don't want to use amazon, this has become very annoying. there is an option to not show the popup again, but selecting this only closes the popup, and it reappears a few days later. this has been going on for over 6 months after i first reported it to samsung, and i'm now under the impression that samsung is more concerned about pressuring me to use amazon than they are about me continuing to buy their products. i'm almost to the point where i regret buying the refrigerator at all, and i'm probably done with the brand going forward.

so happy with this refrigerator. the counter depth design makes the unit and the entire kitchen look nicer. the display screen is another great feature. it constantly scrolls family photos and we get the best compliments whenever we have visitors.
