Frigidaire Gallery 21.4 Cu. Ft. Counter-Depth 4-Door French Door Refrigerator

I recently purchased a Frigidaire appliance set from Best Buy. I purchased this set on boxing day of 2021, `1 year and 5 months later my refridgerator was deemed unrepairable by a Frigidaire repair man. Repair man said the compressor was no longer working and that he couldn't repair it, and that it should be replaced by the manufacturer. We were then surprised and incredibly disappointed to hear back from Frigidaire with a 40% rebate on a purchase of a new Frigidaire refridgerator. I can't express how hard this last month has been not having a refridgerator and trying to care for a 3 year old little girl. When you spend over $2500 on a refrigerator you expect it to be in working condition for longer then a year and half and this was not the case for me, I have also discovered I was not the only Frigidaire customer having these issues. I think the most disappointing and frustrating part of this whole case was the way this manufacturer turned their back on who they call a valued customer. I will never purchase anything from this brand again and I will make sure I spread the word the best I can about them.

I had the fridge a year 1/2 it quit. The fridge/freezer door had to be completely replaced a year ago. Now the freezer has QUIT AGAIN!!!

I bought this Frigidaire to replace another brand that lasted 8 years, with the last two years expensively fighting to keep it cold. I had high hopes for this Frigidaire. It was cold and quiet and made me forget my previous issues. Until I got the dreaded "Hi Temp" freezer alert after only 3 years. I checked to make sure the coils were clean, but that didn't make any difference. The freezer crept up to 32 degrees, and I knew the end was nigh after researching many other Hi Temp freezer complaints. I started getting PTSD flashbacks of my previous refrigerator and constantly taking food out for service call after service call. I'm not going down that road again, so out it goes.I have a 29 year old fridge in the basement that runs perfectly and has never had service. I am starting to believe that manufacturers consider these new refrigerators disposable items.

Purchased this model in December 2020 after much research and positive review. Since purchasing it has had to be replaced once just under warranty in Dec 2021 due to the freezer not working. Again had problems had June 2023 where it stopped cooling correctly and leaking water inside the unit. Had the problems identified and repaired only to have it fail again after a few weeks. In the 3 years I have this replaced once and repaired twice already and still not working correctly. Customer Service at Frigidaire was unable to help at all.

Our 2-1/2 year old Frigidaire Gallery freezer went out. Will cost half the price of refrigerator to repair. I will not replace with another Frigidaire.
