MAYTAG dryer heater core broke after 2 years

I bought a MAYTAG dryer in the September of 2017 and the dryer heater core was broke in the November of 2019. MAYTAG would not help with my repair. It costed me $197 to get the heater core replaced. The Lead Care Resolution Escalation with MAYTAG told me to buy Extended Warranty from MAYTAG with 60 days of waiting period. Bad Product and Bad Customer Service from MAYTAG!

$500 dryer and just to repair a belt was over $300

I bought this dryer just a little over a year ago. Suddenly it stopped working. The problem was just that a belt had snapped. A 5 minute repair by a technician came out to about $310.00.

Basic dryer that of course is over engineered with inferior parts from over seas. The old ones are better. The manufacturer doesn't care and will not cover parts. Don't buy Maytag
