I bought this compactor to replace a 23 year old Kenmore. The door is flimsy and does not always shut at the bottom. Currently waiting on parts to come in so that it can be repaired under warranty. It came out of the box needing repaired. The only way to get a brand new one is to go back to the store where it was bought. No appliance should need repaired out of the box.
