Never worked right from the start

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Microwave head intermittent issues from the beginning. When you would start it sometimes it would just start making this clicking noise and then immediately shut down after 4 seconds. I made a video of the issue and scheduled an appointment with one of your authorized service people. I took time off of work to let him in. I showed him the video but he could not duplicate the issue and therefore could not fix it. I contacted Wirlpool and they said to call service again. If he couldn't fix it the first time why call them again? Took the unit to Lowes who would not exchange it or give me credit because they have a 30 day return policy. Told them to keep the unit, I ate the cost and bought a GE unit at best buys. Needless to say I am done with Whirlpool and Lowes.

We've had this microwave a couple of months now. Previously I had used my microwave for warming only. With this new Whirlpool microwave, I find I'm actually using it to cook full meals. It's easy to use with great features.

I bought and got it installed about 2 weeks ago. Pretty easy to use and very easy to clean. Sufficient space and power.
