Bought this in April of 2023 and so far it works great. Cant say much for Lowes handling of the unit Not LGs fault. Installed this thru the wall easily enough no sleeve needed imo. All outside grills are open. Cools great time will tell regarding the heating functionality.

I bought my air conditioner in marchof 2023 knowing it was going to be hot and my old a c could not keep up last year...best move ive made. Not only is it stylish i stay comfortable all the time and it has literaly lowered my electric bill 1/2 of what it was last year this time. The auto mode feature is fantastic

Bought it for the heating function

The unit works good and even held its own fairly well down to 10F. Eventually it stopped working because the unit froze up from the ice storm which kept it from starting by putting resistance on the fan which impacted the system which is designed to soft start. LG was very responsive to check the unit and all was well. While the unit is sized reasonably for our house the layout of our windows and floorplan contributes to the unit short cycling. This causes us to tweak air movement and settings to try and reduce this. It would be helpful if you could program a temp range to increase the spread between triggering on and off. Our house is very old and has zero insulation in the walls which allows for ambient temps to swing fast and with a narrow temperature spread constantly triggers the thermostat.

Bought this unit July 2019. Had it installed properly in my double garage and it worked very well for cooling and heating until now. I cleaned the filter on a regular basis. Since it has stopped heating in December 2022 I have called LG for a referral to get someone that can fix the unit. I have not received a response yet that has led to someone able to fix my unit. I honestly dont care about entering any kind of drawing. I just want someone to fix my LG 18000 Btu ac/heater. From the time I purchased it in July 2019 until now December 2022 does not seem to be a satisfactory service life considering the price I paid for the unit.
