Ice maker does not work and its not under warranty

I bought 2013 sep 36 inch built in, stainless steel refrigerator after long thinking.Dear shopper I am writing this review to save your time and money.My ice maker does not work like other kitchen aid ref buyers.and looks like Kitchen aid thinks this part is a separate part from your refrigerator.After 4 years, ice maker does not work and they say its not under warranty.I am writing this review after talking to customer service.If I buy a refrigerator today I would not think of this brand at all, dont make a wrong decision by the price.You may be paying at the beginning couple thousands less but at the end it becomes more expensive.

We got this fridge and have been having problems with the ice maker machine. It turns out that the whole ice machine system had to be replaced. It used to shoot out ice cubes from outside the ice bin. Now it has been resolved but just like one of the reviews here, the machine wouldn’t stop making ice tho the bin is full! I have to manually turn it by lifting the metal sensor. Kitchenaid needs to rectify this issue for this model!
