Horrible machine

I bought this 2 years ago and have been extremely disappointed. It is noisy, does not seem to get clothes as clean as my previous front loader. Also the matching dryer lint trap catches and rips clothes. When originally delivered, I had to have it replaced 2 times because of excessive noise. Now the machine has mold all over it, in the dispenser, in the door gasket and I can see mold in places I cannot reach. I have performed the recommended cleaning services as outlined in the owners manual religiously and now it is so moldy I'm afraid for the health of my family to use it. I have tried mold killer, washing cycle with straight bleach, and spraying with bleach and scrubbing with a stiff brush, but nothing gets the mold out. I called Customer Service and they said there is nothing they can do. This amount of mold cannot be common. I have had multiple other washers, both top and front loaders and they never had a mold issue. I wish I had NEVER purchased these machines and would NEVER recommend Electrolux to anyone.

It was a difficult decision to replace our units from the early 90s ( they were very reliable) but we needed to go stackable in our new Condo. These units had great reviews and it was a floor model so we saved money on it. It is so much more quiet compared to the old unit. Only time will tell how long this will last, hopefully a long time.

This is a great machine. My only complaint is I have never been able to use the high speed spin funtion. Just to use the medium setting I need 2 bags of softener salt up against the side to keep in place.

Recently purchased floor model since my washer and dryer died at the same time. I needed a replacement immediately and this is what was available. It worked out in my favor. Price was good and it is quiet and more efficient that my last machine which cost way more. I even qualified for an energy rebate from the electric company. It was a win win.
